The Inheritance House was able to bring a group of women together who had never met and create a sense of safe community, a place where we could learn to grow in authenticity, acceptance, and appreciation as the leader modeled all of these and gave us opportunities to practice. The Journey Group also created in me an even greater thirst for a relationship with my Savior as I grew spiritually through practicing gratitude, and listening prayer, both taught and practiced in the group.

My “joy” capacity has grown through experiencing the Journey Group material. My relationship with the Lord is stronger and deeper than it’s ever been. I hear from Him and am being healed by Him.

Much of the material has to do with attunement, brain science, and spiritual formation. All things I love to learn about. I really enjoy the depth of the relationship with the women in the group. It feels safe to “just be” and to share from the heart. I would highly recommend joining a Journey Group!

This Journey Group has allowed me to realize how much my heart has been turned off to the world because of past trauma and hurts. I am now learning how to recognize how those traumas are affecting my day-to-day life and how to use check-ins to gauge my mood. In addition to check-ins, the most profound lesson I have learned is that there is nothing wrong with me, my relational circuits have been shut off. With check-ins and the practice of writing appreciation memories, I plan to turn my relational circuits back on by paying attention to the good when I so want to only see the negative.

Everyone has the capacity to deal with past issues, past hurts, and things in the subconscious that create reactions. When you respond with a Level ten to a Level one infraction, you know that there's a miscommunication, there's a misfiring, but you may not know why. Journey Groups allowed me to see what was underneath and …… (get back to health, healing, and rest). I cannot say enough good things about this. It is life-changing, and I want everyone I know to experience this for the health of my family, friends, and church community.

If you don’t want to be in the exact same place spiritually, or otherwise, this time next year then I beg of you to try Journey Groups. It’s where neuroscience and faith intersect and my life will never look the same! I have been studying and leading on God’s word for over 10 years and I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting any breakthrough’s and why other people wouldn’t or couldn’t change. I was just stuck and I don’t think I even realized it. There’s a saying that 'we don’t know what we don’t know.' Well now I know. Matthew 5:6 says,”Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” I knew I was missing something and when a friend told me she was doing Journey Groups and I looked over the book, I was in!... "ALL IN" as they say in group. If you are someone that is ready to dig a little deeper, discover joy, and your true identity, then Journey Groups opens that door. It’s just the beginning of how life is really meant to be lived. Don’t walk through, RUN!!
