Meet the Director

 Director

Theresa Classe

If you were to ask Theresa whether she considers herself a visionary, she would probably smile and say no. But those who have served alongside her would tell a different story.

For years, Theresa has quietly dreamed about creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus in ways that bring lasting healing—not through striving or performance, but through relationship, community, and the transforming presence of God. Many of the ministries that make up The Inheritance House today were first carried in her heart long before they became reality.

Theresa knows personally that healing is rarely a straight line. It can be messy, unexpected, and often unfolds one faithful step at a time. Having walked through her own experiences of pain and trauma, she has seen firsthand how God faithfully redeems even the hardest parts of our stories. Today, those experiences have become a foundation for compassion, allowing her to walk alongside others with both grace and hope.

As Executive Director of The Inheritance House, Theresa has helped expand the ministry’s offerings through Journey Groups, prayer ministry, and Heart & Art with Jesus. Each ministry reflects her passion for creating environments where people can experience emotional healing, spiritual growth, and a deeper relationship with Christ.

One of Theresa’s greatest gifts is discernment. Through prayer appointments, she has had the privilege of listening with people as they seek God’s direction, healing, and freedom. Her heart has never been to provide all the answers, but to help others recognize the voice of Jesus for themselves and experience His love in personal and life-changing ways.

Heart & Art with Jesus was born from Theresa’s own experience with the healing power of creativity. What began as a personal journey has grown into a monthly gathering where people can slow down, create, reflect, and encounter God in a peaceful, welcoming environment. Thanks to the faithful volunteers who have embraced the vision of The Inheritance House, this ministry continues to grow with hopes of reaching even more people in the future.

A fun fact that often surprises people: before giving her life to Christ more than 30 years ago, Theresa played in a rock-and-roll band. It was through the loving invitation of her sister-in-law that she came to know Jesus—a relationship that forever changed the course of her life.

Theresa has been married since 1987 to her loving husband, Doug, and together they have built a life marked by faith, love, and commitment.

Today, Theresa continues to lead with humility, faith and compassion. Her deepest desire is to see people discover the healing Jesus offers, learn to hear His voice, and walk confidently in the identity and inheritance He has given them.

When she’s not serving at The Inheritance House, Theresa enjoys spending time with her three adult children and five grandchildren and is grateful to call Central Florida home.
